Job Purpose Statement:

The School Psychologist works under the direction of the Director of Special Education and will work at various district locations.  The job of “School Psychologist” is done for the purpose of assessing students’ intellectual and mental functional levels; providing information for program development and student placement; developing behavior plans; and providing information on child development and/or issues on specific students to instructional personnel.

The salary range for the 2026/27 school year is $60,294 to $101,831 for a 192-day contract.  School Psychlogists receive an extended day contract and a School Psychologist stipend.
